A little about my little busy body!

Trey LOVES the water! he was so dirty after eating lunch one day he went straight to the sink to get cleaned.

Trey eating his cupcake!

As soon as anybody lays on the floor Trey thinks this is an invite to climb all over you.

Family Movie Night! This was Treys spot of choice. We tried to get him to sit BY Hailey, but as soon as we got him off her he would climb right back up and park right on her head.

Trey has recently discovered the art of taking his clothes off. One day I dressed him up all cute and was trying to head out the door, when I discovered him hiding in his closet taking it all off! It was cute at first, but after him taking his pants off in the middle of a store for the twentieth time, it was just frustrating. That little stinker! We have a nudist on our hands!

The fourth of July parade was very exciting to our little Trey. As long as he was holding his little flag he would wave it with pride. However He was terrified of the noisy trucks. He would just pucker his lower lip and hide his face. It was too cute!

He Loves his Baths! Especially with bath toys!
I just LOVE this little guy! Saying he is a handful would an understatement! He is so curious about everything and knows how to hold his own when it comes to his big brother and sister. He only recently has become a cuddler and loves to give hugs and wide open kisses. He is very much a Daddy's boy and I love that. It is so fun to see how excited he gets whenever Brandon gets home. I Love you Trey Austin Mecham!! Even if all my grey hair comes from you ;)

We have a Kindergartener in the house!!

So I am still having a hard time with the fact that Hailey is in school! She has been going for about 3 weeks now and she loves it. She loves her teacher, friends, the homework, and especially the bus. Jaden and Trey are kind of lost without their sissy around the house, but we have managed. The boys keep me busy with questions and messes. It has been nice to have more one on one time with Jaden. He is such a big helper around the house. He loves to do "big boy" jobs and be "in charge" of Trey. We have been cleaning and organizing around the house lately and I have asked Jaden to play with Trey while I worked, but he would prefer to be by my side doing the work with me instead. He is my little buddy. We sure do get excited when the bus brings Hailey home each day! Jaden runs outside to greet her as soon as she gets off. I sure LOVE my kids!! They keep me busy, but I wouldn't be happy any other way!!

So we had a great Halloween this year. It felt like a four day holiday. We had a jam packed weekend full of all the halloween festivities we could cram in. On Friday we went to Boo at the Zoo with my cousin Jessica and her family, and my brother Jared and his family. We had dinner first and then set off to the Zoo. The kids LOVED it! Jaden was unsure about the creepy masks and would'nt go anywhere near them. But by the end of the weekend he would tell me, " Me no scared!"

On Saturday night we went to our ward Carnival. We had a chili cook off, a fishing pond, cake walk, and minute to win it games. Hailey won at the cake walk, which she was so tickled about all weekend. Jaden, our little lefty, scored on his first shot at the bing bag toss. Trey just loved to be along for the ride ;)

Trey is a turtle, Hailey the Ladybug, and Jaden our little monkey.

We have a tradition in our house, after going Trick or Treating, we take the kids out to dinner in their costumes. We took them to IHOP the last two years, and let the kids decorate their scary face pancakes. They love to stay in their costumes as long as possible! The kids were so sad to have Halloween come and go, but when I told them Christmas was coming soon, they perked right up. The kids hit the jackpot this year! Here they are reaping the benefits of all their hard work.

The Happiest Place On Earth!

My parents took us to Disneyland the first week in October. The entire family was able to go. We had matching shirts numbered 1 to 23. We had so much fun!! It was so fun to be able to see the magic through the kids eyes. They were just in awe the whole time. Hailey loved all of the princesses, and Jaden loved the Buzz Lightyear ride. He said he liked to, "shoot the bad guys." It wasn't too busy this time of year so it was nice to be able to go on the rides that we wanted to. This post is totally overloaded with pictures, but I guess it makes up for the lack of posts this last year ;)
The kids on the Merry Go Round. Trey and I skipped out on this one because Trey fell asleep in the Stroller (pictured below). It was cute everytime they would go around they would frantically wave at me and yell, "HI MOM!"

We all enjoyed the Ferris wheel. We were surprised by how many rides we could take the whole family on. We stood in this line for about half an hour before we got to the front. When we did Jaden told us the dreaded words, "I have to go potty!" Daddy was able to get him to hold it and we went on the ride anyway. We were so impressed with him. He has been potty trained for about 5 months now and we had NO accidents on our trip. He made it the 14 hr drive too. One time we were standing in line for the dumbo ride and he tells me he has to go potty. I asked him if he could hold it. He points down to the ground and tells me, "I can pee there." he wanted to just drop his pants and pee in line.

Jaden loved to see all the characters...but from a distance. Chip and Dale came walking past us and Jaden would wave and say Hi. Dale came right up to him and touched his shoulder. Jaden FREAKED OUT!! He literally shook and tried to climb up me screaming at the top of his lungs. This is bad, but it was hysterical! He later told everyone, "Dale touched me, I cried." Too cute!

Enjoying the train ride. Jaden has gotten into the habit of pulling faces everyti,e I got the camera out.

Haileys favorite of the trip was her Disney Princess Makeover. We borrowed some dress from a friend and Hailey chose which one she wanted. Early on Wednesday morning she came into our room and asked if it was time for her makeover. She was so excited to wear makeup, glitter, and a crown. It was so cute, everytime we would go up or down stairs she would let go of my hand and delicatly hold up her skirt with her fingers and gracefully walk down he stairs. She totally went into character once that dress was on. Hailey and I had our own little girls day at Disneyland that day. Brandon and Jaden went to save the world from alien invasion on the Buzz Lightyear ride, while Hailey, Trey and I went to go see the princesses. She was so excited!! She loved their dresses and being able to talk to them. She didnt recognize Mulan, but it didnt matter to her she was a princess and that was enough for her. We watched the parade that day and Hailey would wave at all the characters. What made her life even more complete was when Minnie Mouse went by on her float she looked at Hailey and curtsied to her. Hailey turned to me yelled, " Did you see that?!" She was the perfect age for all of this. It was so magical for her and she loves looking at pictures, and talking to anyone who will listen.

We shared a Condo with my Brother Jared and his family. Trey and Jaden are about 10 weeks apart and they have become the best of friends. At one time Trey was sucking on Behrens fingers, while Behren was sucking on Treys head. They would get so excited everytime they would see eachother. They would smile and kick. I think they are going to grow up to be best buddies.

The Jungle Cruise

The whole family with Mickey Mouse. Jaden loves Mickey!

Finding Nemo Submarine ride.

Trey loving the beach

Daddy taking the kids to get their feet wet. They were dry for maybe two minutes.

Well this was our trip in a nutshell. Thank You Grandma and Grandpa!! We had so much fun being all together and making memories that will last a lifetime. We cant wait to go back in two years and do it all over again!
